ContaCam is a tool for video surveillance that records videos or take snapshots from webcam or digital camera based on movement detection.
Saved files can be deleted automatically after desired interval to keep hard drive space available for new records. Can record or take screenshots manually or based on motion detection. Can adjust camera settings such as frame rate, general settings (contrast, brightness, hue ..), video resolution, compression type, quality, enable audio.
Schedule options allows to start recordings automatically at desired intervals. Supports connections to another IP or host.
Can send automatically new records to email or FTP, save video (AVI) or animated GIF image. Includes a function to merge or join video files.
