Yawcam is primarly designed to be a webcam tool that allows to stream video or live image from attached camera to internet. Supports IP camera or local cameras attached to computer, including any webcam that is recognized by Windows.
Can make available a live internet address URL (you can protect with password) to access that URL from any location from internet and view images transmitted by webcam. Can add an overlay image or text that will be visible on webcam transmission.
From "Viewers" window can view a list with all users that are viewing your webcam, you can kick or ban them if you need, with a single click.
Also, can be used as a surveillance tool to monitor your house when you are away. It shows live images and can save automatically snapshots (PNG, JPG, GIF) when detects movements due its motion detection ability.
Can save images automatically at a X number of seconds or when it detects movement. Can set a specific area for motion detection and adjust sensitivity, tolerance and interval.
Also supports scheduler, it has a console tab where are visible activities and errors.
