PDF is a file format invented by Adobe, the same company that created this program - Adobe Reader.

PDF documents are often used to store text and images and are easily to store, share or send. Adobe Reader is designed to open and display these files.

As a viewer, allows you to zoom in or out, change page rotation, disable panels and enter in view mode (fullscreen supported too). A search function allows to search by words inside the documents.

The program has a pretty big size and doesn't open very fast documents, but its advanced customization settings ensure a very good readability of a PDF.
