This Duplicate File Finder made by Auslogics is a program that allows to scan entire computer or selected partitions or folders to find duplicate files. Is searching for duplicate file names and their content and displays a list with results from where users can check what files will be removed or deleted in order to free up some disk space or simply to avoid confusions generated by having multiple identical files on a computer.
Allows to search specific types of files (pictures, audio, video, archives, applications), can ignore files bigger or smaller than desired size (KB, MB, GB), ignore or not file names (you may have identical files, but with different names), ignore or not last modification date.
Identical files that will be found can be deleted directly to "Recycle Bin", permanently (you will not find them in "Recycle Bin") or to Rescue Center (from here you can restore deleted files if you want something back).
Files that has been found as duplicates are shown in a report and users can sort them by name, size, path or last modified date. Then check files and press "Delete" to remove duplicates.
