FreeOCR is a tool that recognize text from images and generate an editable text file. If you have an image or a scanned paper and you want to save time and do not copy by hand all text/document, this application will detect and recognize automatically text from image.
 
Includes options to rotate image, a scanner interface to read files that has been scanned and change direction of text to "right to left" (this last option useful for some foreign languages).
 
Interface is simple and does not features too many options, but the program is converting successfully and accurate text from images into editable text. Generated text is editable in main interface and can be selected and copied in another files such as Word, Notepad etc.
